Side power thruster

Anyone know where to get a solenoid for a sidepower sleipner stern thruster. The type is DC66-32P, the motor is AS N-1612
It’s for a ranger tug R27. Thanks

The "IP" Motor thrusters are sealed at the factory. Battery voltage at the motor should be checked under load with battery charger off and shore power disconnected. Low battery voltage over a period of time causes Solenoids to go bad. If moisture or water intrusion gets into the thruster motor, it could cause damage to the electronic relay box.
Check to see if there is any damage that has been done to the motor cover that would allow water to get in the DC motor, which is not good. Hope this helps…

Thanks for everyone’s tips. Replaced the solenoid and it works fine. Now I have to seal the housing. Any tips on that? The gasket looks good. Need 2 o rings and then some kind of sealant. Silicone maybe?
