Sirius weather

Xm 52 antenna is recognized...updated all garmin software...subscibed to Sirius XM Weather. I have disconnected and reconnected the antenna. I have refreshed my Sirius signal numerous times. ....I am not receiving any weather info or satellite music? Getting frustrated. Going on our first long cruise for two weeks before ending our journey at the Rendezvous. Would be nice to have it working. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Garmin7612 boat is one year old.

Hi, I got Sirius XM marine weather this year for my trip to Alaska. I have the Garmin 7215 chartplotter.

I found that i needed to bring up Sirius info on "Weather" from the chartplotter home screen, rather than as an overlay on the navigation chart. Once you are on the weather screen, and have selected the kind of weather information to view (I use the "sea conditions"), it can take up to 10 minutes to come up on the screen.

Regarding Sirius radio, if you have Bluetooth enabled on your Fusion sound system, check your instructions. On mine, you can either have Bluetooth or Sirius Radio enabled, but not both. They run through the same set of wires.

You have to control the XM music and source through Garmin screen on the 7612. I would call into Garmin and talk to their guys and they will walk you right through it.
