Best to sleep facing bow or stern on R27 stateroom and why.

We have done both. I prefer head at the bow because I don’t want to change position after watching the tv, and there is a slight sternward slant (which is addressed with pillow).
Heads at stern put the feet, which don’t take up as much room as shoulders, in the area with the least space (the bow) which makes it feel more roomy.
I like heads at bow better but the other way is not bad either.

Thanks Dean. We had anchored on a windy night and found the water lapping at the bow was noisy so will try the stern heading this Spring.

We sleep feet to the bow. I removed our TV, and put a tablet on a suction cup mount on the ceiling. It works great.
Waves slapping on the bow while I sleep has been a problem on every boat I have ever owned (25 to 48 feet). It took me a long time to trust the anchor and just put in ear plugs. Now I put in ear plugs and don't worry at all, I'll wake up when we hit the rocks. 🙂
