QUESTION.....
What configuration do folks with the R23 find best for sleeping in the bow for two people...
heads to the bow ,,, or heads aft.? or just a matter of preference , and trim ?

thanx for any input 🙂

I don't see how heads to the bow would give you enough room. We sleep heads amidship.

Now that I've said this I am sure we will hear from others that differ 🙂 We seem to be a diverse bunch.

oh ok , as in side to side ? the only night we slept on board so fare we were head toward the stern and we were
at a fair downhill grade,, but we dont have any gear,, as in weight in the bow yet , so that might level out the bunk
to a comfortable grade 🙂

No, heads towards the stern is a better way to have said it, sorry.

I sleep with head to the stern and my wife sleeps with head to the bow. Figure that one out! (Hint: At least one of us is short.)

This was the configuration on our R27 as well. I still to this day don't understand it...

She claimed it was more comfortable!
