sliding helm door on 2012 R29

HELP!! We are currently in Anacortes preparing to attend the rendevous, however, I am completely unable to close the helm door . It is obvioiusly jammed at the top where the latch engages . I do have about one inch of fore and aft play at the bottom. If anyone has had this issue and has some advice , we would greatly appreciate it . Tina and I were attendees at the first two rendevous where I remember we had all of 32 boats at the first one . I do nbot know what number rendevous this is but I would have to have to cancel our reservations and also give DOCK WA 190 bucks . Don't know if you have tried, but on our R-29 and R-31 we had press down to open the door latch to open OR close the door.

I had a similar, maybe the same problem. My grandson slammed the helm door open and it jammed, solid. I worked it back, not easy, persistence paid off though and I got it. It took some jiggling. There is no room anywhere to get anything into the jam.
Too late to help now however I put a piece on tygon tubing, split lengthwise, in the bottom track to keep it from ever happening again.
