On a 2018 RT 27 OB seeing signs of water leakage on the inside woodwork and lower aft corner of window. Not sure how to really fix this. Am thinking I need to remove the inside trim ring to access the window frame to side wall interface and seal with caulk. Not sure if this is the way to go. The top of the trim ring is partly covered by the wooden "shelf" above the window. Does this need to be removed in order to remove trim ring or can I just slide trim our from under this wooden piece? Any idea on who the manufacturer of these window are? Would be very nice to see installation instructions for windows before doing anything. Any feedback from those with experience with this problem would be appreciated.

I am also interested in this process as my 2015 R29 has the same leak - port side aft lower corner sliding window.
Will follow along and see what info comes up?

Thank you!

Joe

Did you run a dehumidifier all winter? And is the drip potentially moisture condensation on the inside of the window coming off at that corner?

i have that going on ...2021 27 ranger tug ..trailer it and store it in heated warehouse...hopefully someone has an idea..

except mine is not the sliding window...starboard side..rear..

I found several YouTube videos about “repair of frameless RV windows” that give a good idea of installing and sealing of similarly constructed windows that are used on RVs. Seems that only way to really seal perimeter is to remove window and reinstall with new gasket.. On the sliding window I am beginning to suspect that water may be entering where the opening and fixed window glass sections overlap and water then follows the trim back to rear corner before spilling out onto woodwork. We had a strong storm season this winter when this might have occurred. Going to test with hose sprayed water to check if that might be a problem.
