Sloppy steering or is it just me?

Going in circles... people will think you're crazy but with a little practice you will be 10 times smarter than they are.
Practice is really important.
I do that stuff without my wife... she would get impatient and tell me to stop screwing around.

great advice here. I will say that on the C28 which should be pretty similar to the 27, the prop walk is pretty bad. its impossible to back straight from an anchor or a dock without some back and fill.

My favorite docking game these days is to dock the boat in tight marinas without the thrusters using prop walk, back and fill and strategic use of lines.

its definitely a practicable skill as in the spring time i'm definitely worse than by the end of the summer season.
