SmarTemp Fx 2.0 Blank Screen

The screen on my SmarTemp Fx 2.0 lights up when I turn the heater on but the display is blank.

I have "double tapped" the Webasto button and the blower will run but nothing else happens and still no display

I have pulled the two fuses, waited 1 minute and reinstalled. Still no change.

Is my controller dead, or can I reboot it somehow?

Can't answer your question. But if no one else can either, you might consider giving a call to Sure Marine Services in Seattle. I have no affiliation with them, other than I have purchased a couple of small items from them over time, and a friend installed a diesel heater in his boat that he purchased from them. Their support is top notch, from my friend's report. They service everything they sell, and they sell Webasto products. So they (a) might be able to advise you on your SmarTemp unit; (b) service it; and (c) be a good source for a new one if that's required.

Got a replacement controller from sure marine. Just for kicks i unplugged the old one and plugged it back in and ot started working again. Kind of like a computer!

Heater works great.wish there was a way to know how much diesel was on board!
