I recently replaced my Ranger-supplied Morningstar SunSaverDuo solar charge controller and matching RM-1 remote meter. Nothing's wrong with either of them; I am working on increasing my solar charge capacity, and needed a different unit.
If you didn't get the solar option, or if you want to add a second panel on its own controller (a great option to get around problems with shading on one of your panels), this would be a good buy. Includes the installation and user manuals.
