Hello all,
I have a 2018 29CB and want to make a couple of tweaks to the small rack that holds the solar panel that came from the factory. What I have in mind is adding an extension cord to the solar panel to be able to insert a bolt-on rack on top of the factory rack, then the solar panel goes on top of the added rack. The idea is to get a couple of "shelves" on that top part of the boat to store some gear when underway. I think the rack add would be pretty easy, but I am not sure if anyone has added an extension cord to their solar panel set up? I am looking for as simple a solution as possible here, where ideally I would be able to just insert a cord that is maybe 2 feet long at most. Anyone done that successfully and have a recommendation for the cable specs I wold need to get? Thanks!
