We were on the hook this weekend. My voltage, during the day with full sun, was as high as 14 volts. I didn't have to charge my batteries at all. There is a switch that says OFF-GREEN POWER-SHORE-GENERATOR-INVERTER. What is Green Power? The solar panel charges the batteries automatically, right?

My AC power source selector switch has a legend "GREEN POWER AVAILABLE" to indicate that the Green LEDs light when the power source is available. There is also a legend "RED REVERSE POLARITY". Each of the three power sources has a green and red LED. Is this what you are referring to?

My AC selector is a rotary switch with an Off position and three power source choices: Shore, Gen, and Inverter.

The solar panel is automatic. If there is charging coming from another source the controller automatically shuts the charge off, but while on the hook and not running the engine or a generator the solar will kick in when needed
