Solara S250 c gas tank only fills halfway

My Solara only takes about 56 gallons before fuel starts backing up. I initially thought it was a vent issue since the vent is integrated into the fill, but I blew out the vent line with high pressure, and nothing changed.

I’ve also tried resets and recalibrations on the Garmin—no improvement. I don’t believe the tank is actually full. Even from near empty, it only takes about 52–60 gallons, and the tank is rated for 116.

Any ideas?

Does the 250 have the Yamaha display that includes the float-based fuel gauge? It's the blue bars in the top center display on our 310 here:

If so, what does that show as the fuel is backing up? One of our tanks needs a short "break" where I remove the pump after it gets about half full before we can continue filling it up at certain marinas based on fuel flow rates.
