Hi - I'm moored on Lake Union in Seattle, would like to hire someone to do some winterizing for me. Is there someone you guys can recommend?

I would ask at the marina office....

Hey - you're selling! Are you getting the 38'? We moved over to Elliott Bay Marina where you are, love it so far but only in a month. Question for you - what Saltwater maintenance do you do, e.g. flushing engine, etc. Hope all's well!

Hi, if the question was directed to me...

Yep, Spinner (R-31) is listed with a broker in Anacortes as of this afternoon!

I bought an older Nordic Tug 42 last month, and have been busy with getting some mods done to it. Should be finished around the first of April, then my new slip at Elliott Bay Marina will be H-15. The timing on the R-38 (or is it now the R-41?) just wasn’t going to work out for me personally.

Sorry, I missed the second part of the question. My salt water maintenance has consisted of keeping the zincs in good shape and the bottom painted. Oh, and periodically getting mussels cleaned off of the trimtabs and rudder post! I would probably have had the heat exchangers cleaned in the next year, although I have never experienced any symptoms of deposits in there....

To the question of whether the R-38 is now an R-41-- I spoke with two Ranger Tug reps at the Seattle Boat show and they both indicated that the new model was lengthened to 41 feet.

im the same as spinner. - paint and zincs.
