Well. Infestation may be a bit of a stretch, but my wife is arachnaphobic and today we had to cancel a day on the water due to dozens of spiders on our R21EC, in the cockpit AND the wheelhouse.
We moor on Lake Washington, and I've slowly watched this problem get worse over the warmer months. I thought surely there must be other tuggers that have dealt with this problem?
I looked at some other forums and saw remedies ranging from laying dryer sheets out, to leaving a coffee can full of mothballs in the wheelhouse.
I also learned that these weird tiny green and yellow drops that appeared all over my boat during the past two weeks are spider poop.
So - anyone want to share their salty remedy for keeping the buggers at bay?
Thanks,
-Steve
