Hello All
I have a new Cutwater 28 manufactured in April. I've had it in salt water for less than 2 months. And always wash her down with fresh water after an outing. I'm wondering if the amount of rust and anode wear is about right. I admit that most of the rust is pretty minor, but wanted to check here to see if it is a normal progression.
Previously I had a Glacier Bay I only kept it in the water a week at a time, and didn't get any rust other than the screws in the butt drain.
Images can be seen in my Album tittled Rust.
Thanks in advance for your comments.

Your rust looks much worse than our 2014 R31CB kept in salt water. We wash down after every cruise and wipe rails. Do you have a galvanic isolator? will need one if you use shore power in salt water. Isolator extended zinc life from months to years.

seems aggresive. my 28 is in the salt year around in seattle. if I dont wash down with fresh thoroughly my rails looks like yours but those joints for the bimini are excessive.

the rails clean up quick with a polish.

Collinite Metal Wax will remove the rust and protect the metal for months. I use a cotton glove to apply it, makes the work go pretty fast.

Thank you for the input. I've ordered some Collinite Metal Wax , thank you Brian. I'd like to hear from the factory to get their take, Andrew, Ronnie?

I used the Collonite metal wax as recommended by Brian and it does a great job cleaning and protecting the stainless. I also used their product for fiberglass cleaning and waxing. I used Collonite for years on my plane as well. Always thought it was a good product.

Oh, I also ordered a Galvanic Isolator.

Collonite metal wax, I am beyond impressed. I hit the swim step strut and it cleaned up like new. The cotton glove idea is also a winner. I'm thinking of also using a dremel with a cotton buffing pad to get into those really tight spaces like around the head of a screw. Thank you all for the advice.
