Has anyone looked into replacing the stock steering wheel on an R-31 or any Ranger Tug.

My wife and I find the wheel is a tad low for us when sitting in the helm seat and feel a larger steering wheel might be an improvement.

I wonder if there are any negatives to a larger wheel.

Is the hub and associated hardware pretty standard in the industry?

Lastly are larger steering available, in my searches best I could find was 15.5" unless you dropped some hard cash for a custom wheel.

Often thought that a tilt wheel would be nice 🙂

Not sure about the hub itself, but wouldn't a larger wheel limit the ability to use the side door?

That ia a good thought and before purchasing any new wheel I would do a mockup

A little bigger you probably would not notice a difference in steering but it is going to slow down your steering. Larger the wheel the more you will notice.
