Hello,

I'm trying to figure out where to stow the dinette filler cushion for my 2012 R-29. I'm thinking about a cargo net slung under the bimini in the cockpit, but wanted to ask everyone where they stow theirs.

Thanks for any ideas,
Brad

It will fit upright against the wall in the cave , the wall where the coat hooks are. After a few years of non use I have sent mine to storage.

Under the bed at home 😀

I have a R25 (I think the cushion is similar) and I asked my wife cut mine down the middle and cover the exposed foam areas with new fabric. She worked her magic. It now hinges down the middle. It can now be folded in half and stored in many areas on the boat without being a nuisance. It worked out surprisingly well. To give credit where credit is due, we saw this on another boat while in the San Juan's and copied it.

nzfisher,

That's a great idea. I think I may try that. Thanks.

Under the bed at home too. It's hard for me to imagine a situation where I wouldn't have had a heads-up that it was needed :?: but I have been wrong once or twice.

Thanks for the feedback.
We're listing the boat for charter part of the year to help us pay for it, and don't know how many charter customers may bring kids, friends, or relatives and need the extra sleeping capability. Also even knowing ahead if it's needed, I would still want to have it stowed out of the way until ready for bed, in case someone wants to lay on the bed, play in the cave, or whatever while the dinette is still set up as a table.
