We haven't use our stove/oven on our RS29...decided to try today and could not get the flame.

I followed the direction to get it started with no luck. It may have 'air' in the hose? How do we remove the air?

If any Ranger Tug owners at EBM have a moment to stop by at our slip and show us how to...it will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Apologies if this is obvious, but have you made sure that the propane solenoid switch is on? There should be a small black control panel (square shaped with a circle in the middle) located somewhere near the stove-- which controls the flow of propane to the stove. Propane will only flow if you see 2 green lights on the panel, so if you only see only 1 green light... press the button on the panel until the 2nd light appears. This is the cause of many "D'oh" moments on our boat!

Hi! These questions are not intended to be insulting.... I have done all of these!

Did you have propane flowing? It can take a while if the system hasn’t been in use
1. Check in the propane box to make sure the tap on the propane bottle is open
2. AND that the gauge reads that there is propane. I had the same problem and found that the regulator at the bottle was busted and all the propane had leaked out over time.

Were you getting a spark when you pushed the igniter button? I keep a box of matches handy....

If the above were yes, were you pushing the burner control button in and holding it in? ( If you don’t push it in, it won’t let you light the burner)

I am around EBM frequently. PM me if you continue to have problems.
