Does any one have the diementions for lifting straps on a 2007 R-25?

Hello Gerlots,

Are you referring to the sling style lifting straps to launch the boat into the water?

Thanks,
-Kenny

Are you planning on rigging your own lift? I have had my boat lifted and it appears most "pros" would be setup with straps with dead lifting load capacity much larger than needed for our boats. By the way this is a excellent opportunity to determine the actual weight of your boat since many lifting cranes will have a gauge showing weight being lifted.

But, if you are talking about rigging your own lift I am very interested in the answer (cost, source of straps) since would like to perform this on my farm.

An additional concern is proper strap placement (below main engine, not over hull penetrations, etc)

You will need a set of these:

The 16 foot minimum...the 18 foot is better to have the metal rings and pulleys clear your rub rails.

Here is a picture showing where we lift our 27. We lift at the hand loop for the rear strap and at the front of side window for the front strap.

Thanks for your replies. I want to notch my trailer bunks for sling launching and loading. I finally talked to the Factory, and they directed me with the proper locations.
By the way, nice boat house!

Factory says: Center of port and starboard pilot window, and boarding detent on port and starboard cockpit (side boarding).
