I put up the bimini on my R-27 for the first time yesterday and was puzzled by the black straps on the underside of the bimini, either side of the roof extension over the door. Can someone tell me what they are for?

Thanks, Phil

Hi phil,
Can you be more specific? Do you mean by the door into the cabin or by the flaps at each of the steps. I set mine up the other day and seem to remember that there were black velcro straps to hold the flaps back when you unzip them to exit via the steps.

Sorry I thought you were talking about Bikini Straps.

They are about 18" long, adjustable, not velcro.

If you unzip the two zippers at the front end of the bimini the flap falls into your face. The two straps on each side hold it up when you want to roll it up out of your way.

Thanks Lobo!

Phil
