Just noticed a new star burst of stress cracks in the non-skid on the starboard side where you step onto the boat in front of the downrigger cover. It is a bit tough to to see in the pic but if you zoom in you can see the web. This is on a 2018 31Cb. Pretty sure this is new in the last few days. It would be pretty difficult to dremmel this out for a repair and maintain the non-skid.
Suggestions?

Voids in the lamination perhaps ?
I have the same boat - I am unsure where this step is - can you get into the cavity and determine if there is one or two layers of fiberglass where the cracking is?
I saw a vid once where the craftsman drilled several small holes where the cracking is… and injected resin into the holes… viola’

This “step” is btween the Scotty downrigger black cover and the diesel fuel cap. Depending on the dock height, we step here fairly often.
I’ll do a YouTube search for the video you mention. I do have some white gel-coat….

DON"T DREMEL OR DRILL!!
Mine has identical marks. It really worried me when I first saw mine. I had the factory guys take a look. After a bit of investigation we found the same pattern on the other 31s at the dock. Very hard to see in the brand new boats, but if you rub a bit of dirt in the area it will show.

Must be a 'scar" in the mold.
