Has anyone had their solar control output to the house battery as high as 15 volts? Is this expected as part of the charging cycle? I have done a system reset by disconnecting all the leads per another thread. I'm now monitoring the output.

The leds On the solar controller should be green ?
On the RM-1 there should be no faults . If so you’re good. I’m seeing 14.51v max on RM1

Mine was reading 19-20volts BUT I had an over charging error on the RM1 and the solar controller was flashing red.
Turned out that Bank 1 wires were placed into the Middle solar connection and the solar wires were in bank one . Need new solar controlled , rewired, all ok , no faults.

Mine typically has a max of around 14 volts +/-. I seem to recall reading that they are current protected to 15 volts max so I think you should be fine.

Cheers,
Mark

Update. Finally spent money I should have to start with and bought the Victron 100/20 control. Easy installation and works much better.

Thinking of installing as well. We’re did you mount and how’s the wiring?

Thanks
Joe

Mounts right in place of the old one. Had to drill a few holes to start the screws but was really easy. Wiring is simple. Make sure to label the wires when you take them off the old controller. I connected the output to the house battery. This controller only has one output. The ACRs will take care of the others. I did pull the fuse on the motor cable to prevent the cable from shorting out.
