I have a Sunsaver Duo rated at 25 amps and a remote meter. The Sunsaver Duo is blinking green showing it is charging, but the remote meter inside the 2014 shows nothing, whatever I do. The sun was out strong today. How can I make this thing tell me what the manual says it is able to do?

Try disconnecting the remote jack from the unit and then reconnect. If that does not work forst remove fuses on leads to batteries from controller. Then disconnect controller from the solar panel. Just removing the red lead will work. Then reconnect controller, then the fuses to the batteries. This is a full reset. If that does not work, call morningstar. They are very helpful.

my remote display died and I swapped out the display keeping the original controller.

don't be fooled by the green flashing LED as far as I can tell it flashes when only a battery is connected and doesnt show "charging" at all.

I just swapped my whole unit out for a 100/30 MPPT from Victron. way better feature set and better charging,

I agree 100% with knotflying, pull the fuses on the leads from the sunsaver to the batteries, pull the positive lead from the solar panel to the sunsaver and then reconnect after about one minute. Full reset.

I have a R31 with a house battery of 4 AGM's and a seperate battery for the engine and another for the two thrusters. We all have different boats so I don't know whether you are able to help me find the fuses. The fuse blocks do not designate specific fuses. I don't find a fuse in line on the way to the batteries. The wires seem to go into a bundle tunnel. Do the batteries have to be turned on? All five on the small levers on the SunsaverDuo are in the bottom position. I can get no response on the remote. The status light shows nothing.

There should be a single wire 30 amp inline blade fuse in a holder for it near the batteries that the solar panel feeds.

On my boat, R25, the positive wires tot he batteries from the Sunsaver tie into the Bluesea ACR leads, and the fuses are within 4 inches of those.
