If you have a supercharged engine (D6 435 for instance), your supercharger needs the oil changed every 1200 hours or 5 years. I could not find in the log book from the previous owner that it had ever been done, and the boat is going on 7 years old. The manual indicates that there's a drain plug which there is, but it would drain the oil directly on the alternator, which is not ideal. Alternatively, I'd suggest buying these syringes from Amazon:

You can use one to suck out the old oil, and one to inject the new oil. I removed approx. 70ml and put 100ml in per the manual. Hope this helps anyone who's undertaking this project. Also, don't forget the M14 copper crush washer...
