Hello to all,

When I received my mail today I could not believe what I received. I received my official Ranger Tug hat just for joining Tugnuts.

All I have to do is se.ll my forty foot motoryacht and buy a RT 29 or the new 31 that is supposed to debut at the Jan. Boat show. Does anyone have any info about the new 31?

We'll see what happens.

Be very carefull of that hat... they have mystical powers 😱 ..no later than a month after getting mine, I ended up signing a purchase agreement for an R-29...its been 4 months now and we just love the boat. Good luck 😀

If you are lucky, you can get more hats. I got two hats when I signed the preliminary contract at the Baltimore Boat Show. Then, I got a hat when I joined TugNuts. Then we got two more hats when we signed the final contract. Then, we got two more hats when our boat was delivered. Like my tug, they are good quality and should last awhile.
 
I too recieved my hat in the mail yesterday. So far I have sea trialed a 25 classic and next week will be out in a Cutwater 26, however the wife saw a 27 and it was love at first site. She does like the head down below in the Cutwater, so definately need to test drive.
 
When did getting a hat for joining Tugnuts start? I joined back in December 2008 but for the life of me can't remember getting one. I have hat envy!

I joined about 3 months later and mine appeared in my mail soon after.
 
On the signup page there was a seperate area that if you gave your name and address info you would get a hat.
 
I was so pleasantly surprised by receiving that great hat, I emailed Jeff at RT to thank him. I promised I would wear it each day at the Annapolis Sailboat Show and the Long Beach Boat Show to give them a bit of PR and I stayed true to my word. 😀

I wore my Ranger hat every time I went to the boat. Then, our grandchildren came for a visit. They loved the tug! 😀 When they returned to Germany, I found my hat was missing! :cry: One of the twin girls loves hats and she took it home. 😱 And, she hasn't returned it. :shock: It's been two years now and my head is cold!! 😳

Marc's a good guy! Thanks for the hat, Marc!!!! We've talked about me buying another Ranger (almost three years and an untold number of trips to his place 419 miles away) so many times, he's given up.

Nice early Christmas gift...I got my Ranger Tugs hat in the mail today! Now I just need to the boat to go with it ;-)

Oh, don't worry, that hat has magical powers, in less than a year you will have a Ranger Tug. Amazing what a hat can do.
 
Less than a year? That means I am getting one sooner than I thought 😱

Spent Saturday at the boat show in Oakland, Ca. They had all their models except the Cutwater 28. The Ranger team is the best in the business! Andrew spent probably 2 hours with us going over the mechanical differences between the various models. This was from both personal perspective and professional. Ranger really listens to their customers, the 27 engine compartment is so clean and easy to access all areas of maintenance. This is the model that we were really interested in. The CW 26 was available so Andrew took us over to that boat and went through the same thing. Brenda, the boss loved the 29. Now that's alot of boat and I have to rethink how we would use the boat. The CW is still on the shopping list. Jeff gave me a bunch of numbers to consider, so we have much to think about and are still looking at our options. I have always been impressed with the boats and the company, and spending more 1 on 1 time has confirmed that we will be a customer, just getting the right boat for us is still up in the air.

Go big early to keep from moving up in two years. There are some nice R-29s on the Boat Trader website that are less than a loaded R-27. My wife and i finally set foot on a R-27 a few weeks ago, very nice boat. There is just so much more room in the 29.
 
Have finally made a big decision. Have decided to buy a box of hats and let Jeff send me a Tug.
