Has anyone added the new factory swim platform to a ranger tug?

How much?

The install seems pretty straightforward, looks like it uses the same bracketry as the old swim platform.

What is different about the new swim platform??

I believe the old swim step was made from heavy duty Starboard and the newer ones made from fiber glass.

I would be interested in knowing the weight savings. I would like to reduce the weight aft, so if it is significant, I would replace the old starboard swim platform with the new fiberglass unit.

It's not the weight savings, I could care less about that. Its the fact that the starboard platform is about 2' long x 3' wide and the new fiberglass platform is probably 3' Long x 6' wide.

Its the size of the platform that interest me in the new platform.
