Sylvania under bed lighting not working

hi

have a 2020 CB-31 with the sylvania under bed lighting, with remote - but can't get the lights on. the breaker is on and the switch seems on - the lights over the bed work, I changed the remote battery but cant get them to work.

any tips or ideas to troubleshoot?

I have a 2021 Cutwater with under-bed lights that work just fine. Are you pointing the remote toward the part in your photo? They won’t work unless the remote is directed that way.

follow-up: the plug goes through the hull, small hole. where does it actually get plugged in? that may help me

I had a bad battery in my remote when the boat was only 1.5 yeas old.

a. called factory, said i should pull up bed and look for connection
b. i have tried a new battery
c. the IR receiver is sensitive, will try a bit more
