I will be replacing the table bases on the foredeck and command bridge of my 2021 31CB. The finish has been peeling off. Are they attached with screws or bolts? It would be helpful to know before I start pulling off headliners. Thanks in advance for any information.

Mine have been peeling off as well. Also a 2021 31-CB. I was hoping the answer was to repaint rather than take all of those out and risk leaks since they are screwed into deck. The paint flaking off is on every one of the four table bases.

Same on my 2021 R29. They attach with screws. Perhaps a bad batch? Factory sent me new ones and thought it was due to the lack of a plastic washer between the screw and base (mixed metal reaction) but new ones are starting to peel too.

Hi all,

The plates are screwed into the deck and should be relatively easy to remove. In regard to the peeling, please reach out to your dealer for replacement if you are still under warranty. Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Ralf

We have a 2021 C28 with the same issue. The dealer had installed the Raptor decking due to flaws in the fibreglass but when they cut out for the table base they made a mistake and just redrilled the holes without sealing the old holes so when it rains it goes into the engine compartment, I did use sealant. It is now more awkward to access the BBQ with the table up. We were extremely disappointed. They say they will fix the issue.

Thanks for the reply’s. The screws turned (stiffly) but didn’t loosen. I will try a heat gun and see if that will work.
