As most have noted before, including Ranger Tugs themselves, the lack of a table in the back of the boat was quickly identified as a deficiency by the Admiral and needed to be addressed.

I've uploaded some pictures of a table I was able to quickly install and maintain a high quality look. This particular table, base, and pedestal came from Defender.com. The links below link to the particular table and pedestal I chose, but they have other options as well. Note that it is not SOLID teak, but laid over a thin base of plywood. For my $, seems worth it.

Did you mount the bottom piece for the pedestal on the trapdoor for the bilge, or is it offset from center?

looks good, I like the finish look of the table much better than mine. Do you consider putting a locking device on the bilge door to prevent the table to tip over? I did so on mine, look at my photo album "modification" if you want to see how I did it...

I did consider a few ideas on the lock, including yours (thanks!). I think I''m going to try to engineer a spring loaded switch that fits under the door this winter. So far, the tipping has been minor so I've held off, but ask me again when the first mate knocks over a full drink onto the engine cover cushion. 😀
