We live on a lake in West Central Ohio. The lake covers an area approximately 4 miles wide by 9 miles in length and although it has a large area for boating, the lake is shallow. Jet boats and ski boats are common but the preferred boat is a pontoon. We have one ourselves.

In March though our R25 was delivered from Wefings in Florida and we keep it in the water in a slip at our house. We're retired so we usually go out on the lake during the week when the weekenders and others are gone and leave Saturday and Sunday for them.

Our R25 gets lot's of attention. We can be cruising down the lake and other boats come close to look and snap photos. We've gone into some of the restaurants and people will come up to the boat at the dock and ask questions. This past Sunday was an especially beautiful day. Our Grandchildren were visiting and we took them to dinner at a restaurant overlooking the lake. Deborah and our Granddaughter stayed on the boat while my Grandson and I went in to place an order. We wanted to take the food to the boat and go out and anchor while we ate.

This time we were definitely the talk of the lake. As I was docking a couple of guys came down to the dock and started commenting on our beautiful boat. We stood there for 15 minutes or so answering questions and then begged off so we could go into the restaurant. Once inside we sat in the bar to wait for our order. People were coming up to us the whole time to ask about the boat, who made it, etc. While we were inside, Deborah said the same thing was happening at the boat. People were coming by to see it and ask about it. Several of these folks said they were going to go online and check out the Ranger Tug and Cutwater boat site.

I've had many boats and liked them all but I've never had a boat that attracted as much attention as this one and I have to admit, it does puff you up a bit to get comments like "that is by far the nicest boat on the lake".

It's great to be a Ranger Tug owner!

Welcome to the world of Ranger Tugs Jeff and Deb. We all get the same reaction where ever we go. You will not be able to "take a quick trip" due to the attention, unless you want to be rude. I recommend just kicking back and enjoying it.

We're considering handouts and then an optional $5.00 tour.

Allan,
You are really bad. Let me know if you make anything.
