Wefings Marine and Ranger Tugs will be in the water at the Tampa Boat Show on 9/11-9/13 . We will have the R 29 and a 2010 R 25 with the sexy new swimstep and Yanmar BY 150 . Mark from Ranger and Marc from Wefings will be there to answer questions , write deals, do demos and meet with current owners and generally have a great time in Tampa . Show highlights [aside from us ] include the Hillstrand brothers of Time Bandit/Deadliest Catch fame . Oh and there might be some other boats there . If you want passes let me know , we will get em for you !

Unfortunately I can't make it this year but I would really like to see a picture of the new swimstep. Do you think you could post one?

What's the best way to get those passes? Thanks! One other question, what is the weight bearing for the new swim step?

I can tell you from experience the R 29 swimstep is very strong . I think we had half of Atlanta on it at the Atlanta Boat Show. The 25 is a very similar design . Its a nice addition .

I'll vouch for the "half of Atlanta" on the R-29's swim platform. I couldn't get thru the crowd on one occasion.

Show is going well , will be there till 6 this eve. Still have tix available . We were very busy despite the rain yesterday . Tampa is a great venue for a boatshow and as usual the NMMA folks are doing a superb job !
Hope to see some more Tug Nuts there !

I can tell you what we did here during the rendezvous. 15 of us got on the new 29 ft'er, All in the cockpit and on the dive platform. four big guys stood on the dive platform , ( posing for a picture )felt solid as a rock. When the last guy got on, water was starting to come on top of the platform. One 29 here at the gathering had the new rail around the edge. wow.....nice. an other had two davits mounted on the platform holding a large dingy with a large engine. It is stronger than the king board one.
