I have a Tecma toilet that constantly reads tank full. I have disconnected the two sensors, full and half, with no success. It only flushes when button depressed for 8 seconds. Any ideas? Jerry Geisenheimer 2009 R29.

Might be, uh, stuff on the sides of the tank. Maybe fill it nearly full through the exterior port, use a big dose of a liquifying cleaner like Zaal, let sit (ideally motor around a bit), pump out, and repeat. Search web for "clean holding tank sensor" for more ideas.

Beyond that, might need sensor replacement, although not sure what that involves for access.

My sensors have fallen off the tank and are just laying beside the tank. No full tank lockout issues. With that, I recommend that you reboot the controller by turning off your house batteries at the perko switch (assuming the toilet the controller is not directly wired to a battery). This my reset the controller so that it works without the sensors connected.
