Hello, I have been reading about people replacing their macerator pumps due to bearing failure. I believe I am starting to see that now. Maybe this is a dumb question but, are the bearings in the pump serviceable? Seems silly to throw away a perfectly good pump due to a 5.00 bearing, I assume it’s a sealed stainless?

Anyways I have flushed the tank to prep to do this “sh#58y” job.
Part # I see listed as 36750 here doesn’t seem to jive with the suppliers book? so I will bring it (pump) in to match.

Thanks,
Ed604

I have a new pump if you want it.
(Broke the toilet trying to install it)

Thank you that is a kind offer, I will send you a pm.

I recommend you remove the toilet before installing the macerator. It will be much easier to get a good seal around the horn.

Thanks, to Thetfords’ credit, there is a great video that shows how to do the job.
You are right pull toilet out and flip upside down.
Cheers,

Big Thanks to Gary S! His bad luck and good heart got me a pump that works great! The noisy toilet has been silenced! I am wondering if 4 years of use is what others are seeing in the toilet pumps?
Anyways, job is done. After fishing season is over, we will tackle the solar upgrade.
Cheers,

We have a Techma Toilet that will flush but will not fill with water.. 2011 R29
Where is the raw water pump located?
Where is the fuse located for the raw water pump.
It flushes and you can hear a click but it will not fill with water… any help appreciated.

The toilet is supplied with fresh water. Check to see if your water pump is on.

Bob again thanks for the response, we are set up for raw water, no solenoid. We have a raw water pump forward of the generator very difficult to access but we are try to figure out where the breaker for that is located… anybody else have this type of set up?
