Tender on a R23 outboard

Any suggestions on a suitable tender for R23 outboard
We have torquedo 1003
Will tow tender behind some of time, but looking at where to put tender in/on boat
Don't really want to keep inflating/deflating to put in cockpit hold
Thought about on top of canvas canopy over door (have solar panel further forward), boat weight probably 45-60lbs

Outboard definitely complicates storage

Have you thought about a tandem inflatable kayak? The fact that you can raise your engine and you draw very little I would think you can get pretty close to shore and a kayak will get you the rest of the way.

I absolutely loved my R 27 but as time went on my thoughts of long distance travel have changed. While others up sized, I went down when the 23 was released. One of the benefits I have found is that I do not have to concern myself with a skiff. I have to agree with Mike that a solid or inflatable kayak, if shallow exploring is what you wish to do, might be a better option. As far as storage on top of the cockpit shade, one good slam coming off a wave may bring everything down on the deck!
If you bought a 23 foot center console would you feel the need for a skiff?

We just returned to Des Moines after 2 mths in San juan islands and canada
On several occasion moored to public buoys we needed a decent tender to take supplies, 2 people and boat equipment ½ mile to shore without prospect of getting wet
A 8 ½ foot rib. Would have done the job very well, but with no place to stow one you look for alternatives

We have recently seen in UK a 7 ft roof top storage box, the lid of which is a solid tender
In USA there is an equvalent version, but larger at 9ft
Not heavy 40lbs but US is a little long for R23 roof rails
Yayak not really our thing, but were do do stow when inflated

Probably need a bigger boat. Looking forward to seeing R38
