I just brought my "new" 2009 R25 home and want to say a huge thank you to all of you. This forum has been an invaluable resource throughout the buying process, whether it was which inflatable would fit on the swim platform with Weaver Davits, why only the horn doesn't work, what the mysterious connector in the anchor locker is - or a host of other unknowables - you had me covered. I didn't even have to ask. There can't be a better knowledge base, or one with more active participation by the people who actually make the boat, anywhere else on the internet.

Congrats on the new boat! We're in the bay as well, we're up at Edgewood yacht Club. If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to reach out!

Congrats on the new boat, it will be great seeing another tug on Narragansett Bay. We have a 2010 25SC and are in Allen's Harbor in N. Kingstown. There is a tremendous knowledge base on these boats amongst the RI owners so don't be shy. There is going to be a tug rendezvous in Newport in July, always a great time and learning experience. Here's the link for info.

Great to hear there are other Rangers around the Bay - I'll give you a toot if I see you (if I can get the horn fixed....).

It looks like Tug sightings on the bay will be more frequent this year. We have been out every weekend since the beginning of May. Little Debbie is in a slip at Harbor Lights Marina in Warwick.

Hope to see you soon!

Howard
