A big thank you to all who posted replies to my run away bilge pump problem. Thanks to you all, I seem to have emerged without damage to anything, even the battery. I was very impressed also by the service. An email to the factory elicited a response from the Australian agent John Smales very quickly. He reassured me that the pump was still under warranty. By this time I had followed posted instructions to disconnect from the power so the urgency had lessened. John put me in touch with the pump supplier who talked me through some trouble shooting ( while upside down with my hand in a darkish bilge!) I had already flushed the pump thanks to a posted suggestion so the next thing was a stuck float switch - easy when you know where to look. So the problem is fixed thanks to good after sales service and helpful hints from other tug owners and we are back on the water.
