This cat was not aware of the custom of gifting a hat to members of the forum. Yesterday I was at work and the world was beating up on me pretty good. The crap storm was relentless. No time for joe or breakfast. One problem after another.

Finally a brief lull and I was sitting there thinking how tough it gets in the days before Christmas. Primal urges crept in and I headed out to drop the kids off at the pool. Coming back the postman had unloaded the mail. A dozen letters and oner larger envelope. Knowing the letters contained only work and hassle, I grabbed the bigger envelope and tore it open finding a ranger hat. I was dumbstruck wondering if I ordered it and forgot, Maybe my old lady or a friend got it for me for Christmas. Maybe the dude that sold me my R-21ec sent it as a parting gift. Then I read the enclosed letter and felt a warmth flush over me like the first sun of the day. The day began getting better and stayed that way. I will wear the hat with a special pride. Many thanks for the gesture. It goes a long way in making me a vocal (and visual) proponent for the brand.

Thank you from Cape Cod for the great hat. I actually purchased a used R-21ec from another individual and received a hat from the factory. It certainly made me feel a part of the Ranger family. Again, thanks.
