This week the Chris Craft owners are having there 21st annual rendezvous at Port Orchard. The guest docks are full of beautiful old wooden boats. Almost a 100 of them to be exact.
They sparkle and shine in the sunlight. You want to walk down and take a peek for yourself. Well, you might want to think twice.... while the boats are beautiful, most of the owners are less than..... I am not talking physically, I am talking socially.
Last year at the rendezvous and any other cruise since, if someone strolls by, stops, looks, comments on a Ranger Tug, the proud owner proceeds to tell them all about their boat and then invites them aboard for a look around. Not quite the same when you own a big fancy Chris Craft...... They don't say hello, they don't smile, they act as if you are a distraction. I tried to ask questions of a couple of them and got the royal brush off!
My what a difference in the class of people that own Ranger Tugs and those other folks! Glad I bought a Ranger Tug!!!!!
You know, maybe its because they are jealous..... while we are out enjoying our boats, they are at the dock putting another coat of varnish on....... Oh well, life goes on!
