The night before...Ranger?

1) T'was the night before Christmas.
and all through the bay,
not a boat was there stirring,
'cept a Ranger... Hooray!


Now lets see if someone can pick up the next verse. The only rules ...Number your verse, keep it light, keep it clean, keep it going....

5) The moon on the gleam of the now-silent bay,
gave a clearview of Rangers coming my way.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
but a l'il "21", with eight sixpacks of beer.

6) Just one little tugboat, not lively nor quick,
I thought for a moment..."This must be a trick."
But more followed, not rapid like eagles or coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!

7) We pushed on the throttle to get by a ferry.
Revved to 12 knots and planed without worry.
The boaters around us thought, "is that a trawler?"
You bet, it's a Ranger, best tug for the dollar!

8. Darkness is approaching and must hit the hay.
Ranger has had another great day.
