The transducer on my 27' 2016 inboard diesel Ranger trawler

I've used acetone to clean inside transducer and applied marine 4020 adhesive to seal unit. Unit still leaks At this point I'm looking to replace the transducer. Where can I purchase a transducer for my 27' 2016 inboard Ranger diesel trawler?

The model number should be on the transducer. It should be an airmar. However, from your description it sounds like you did not remove the cup before cleaning. You should get a new cup, remove the old one. Sand and clean the bonding surface and then apply some sealant to secure cup to hull. Let it cure and then add antifreeze. Make sure that the o-ring is installed.

Check to see if there is an O-ring on the pump that slips inside the housing/cup. I’ve found these are easy to overlook and when not installed when the two units come together lead to leakage.
