Subject: The use of a Bullhorn can come in handy at times
There have been times when approaching docks and even on the water and wanting to yell out something or to another boat or people in the water.
On my previous R-21EC I had installed a loud hailer on the cabin roof and connected to the Garmin radio which had a Hailer feature. It worked well but did require drilling holes in the cabin roof and running a short wire to connect to the radio. Doing the same on my R-27/OB would require a more extensive install so I looked around for an alternative solution.
My solution is to have onboard with me and as part of my toolkit a Bullhorn. For $15 this one meets my requirements. 😀
