hey tugnutters,, for those of you familiar with this long ago posted thread,, i have finally completed it, putting in the new 3 inch memory foam cusions ,, material from costco,.. covering from a local upholsteror this particilar project isn't for everone nor is the difference created in the v-berth. as with any change in the original design of an already extremely well designed vessel there are tradeoffs.. in this case, the major one being the loss of overhead space for the added new drawer and the now easily accessible storage port and starboard under the new bunk.. anyhow , i posted 5 new pictures in my album,, would appreciate any feed back if you care to give it, [t he wood i used was iroca (poor man's teak and maple( could not find any holley) ...... later, steve,,, still no clue
