I have a 2018 R-31 CB. About how thick are the exterior bulkheads, inclusive of interior trim? I’m particularly interested in two places:
Practically speaking, this question is for mounting hooks, an additional shelf, etc. I want to know if I can only use 1/4 screws, or even if I have to go shorter (like 3/16) — I obviously don’t want to drill through to the exterior.
Especially in the second place above, is it one sheet of fiberglass that forms the inside and outside bulkhead, with gel coat on either side, or is it two separate sheets of glass with air between?
- Above the galley (inclusive of wood paneling)
- Underneath the salon table, at the get coat not at the wood paneling
