I was just sitting here reading posts and looking at links to things Tugnuts have bought. I got to thinking about all the stuff I've bought as a result of someone's post and link. Command hooks, carbon monoxide detectors, anchor swivel, two blade fan, small inverter and power strip, the list goes on and on. Now Barry has me looking at Robship bags...
Thanks folks, Sea Holli sits much lower in the water now.

Tony: A few years ago before ActiveCaptain merged and was sold off to Garmin, the ActiveCaptain site would offer discounts for some items sold by Defender.com. On one of those occasions the Defender discount was for RobShip products. I suspect Defender was offloading all of its RobShip items as I note they do not offer them any longer.

Anyhows... when ActiveCaptain issued the Defender discount for RobShip products I went wild and bought just about all the various Defender's RobShip items; bags, blankets, cushions, various sized slim pocket bags that stick securely to gelcoat surfaces, a very very useful and very strong and sturdy tool bag that has been immensely useful for me (it's quite heavy hold tools), and so on. I grabbed all items that I could as they were at a good price even without the ActiveCaptain discount. I have NEVER regretted my decision of having bought all the RobShip items as they are made from extremely high quality material, have not broken, ripped or worn themselves out in any way and have stayed as some of my most useful boating items I've ever owned. They are nautically stylish looking as well. People often ask me about these items.

The RobShip products have changed over time. Some of the older products are no longer being sold and new ones are frequently introduced.

Quite honestly, I feel RobShip's real focus is on the 'sailing' crowd' and not necessarily on the 'power boat' crowd.

If you need a nice looking, strong and useful tool bag go for a RobShip bag. It's not too big and as such is a bag that a sailor can have with him when being hauled up to top of a 70-foot mast. 😉

Yea.... if you have it, then use it wisely.

As I was working on my boat the other day (R-21EC), my wife informed me that I had bought enough STUFF, as I was running out of room to mount and install all this STUFF!
I told her that she was correct and it was time for me to get a BIGGER boat.
I can not outsmart her but I can outstuped her! It seems there's still room for more STUFF and she even offered to help me find a location!

Speaking of “stuff” and “things” and “space” ...... of all the items you’ve bought what are the ones (like Barry had described) that you are glad you bought and would happily purchase without hesitation? Also, this ones for Barry... do you have a link where you bought those fans you recently spoke of?

just a quick reply on the fan you enquired about. See https://www.amazon.com/Caframo-Mari...sprefix=Caframo+fan,aps,180&sr=8-4&th=1&psc=1 that costs today $54.73 for the black colored fan that I have two of. I have carried/kept these from my R-25 Classic days and am super pleased with them....(made in Canada). The white one cost a whopping $74 cost for some reason I don't understand.... but then I favor black anyhow. The base has to be screwed to a solid surface and located so that the fan can be swiveled in all the required directions. I like that they have 3 speeds from low to high and speeds are easily switched between with the fan's centrally located large push button. When the cabin interior gets somewhat stifling hot/warm/humid the low speed moves the air around nicely with hardly a sound and during colder period with the Webasto heater running will circulate the warmed air throughout the cabin interior and does well moving warmed air into the mid berth under the dinette table. If these fans ever fail (they have a 5000+ hour motor life) I would hope I could buy them again for sure.

Things I own and would buy again... a short list
