Thruster batt

Hi all,
Anybody replace their thruster battery,if so what type?

I used Duracell Platinum AGMs 110 ah, for all 6 of my batteries to keep the charging system uniform, house, start and Thrust. Has worked flawlessly for me. Others have opted for the Oddesy Batts for start and thrust, however, cost is much higher. Didn’t need those for my purposes.

I installed Odessey Extreme Group 31 AGM batteries for the thruster and start batteries. They provide 1150 cold cranking amps. The engine starts immediately and the thrusters are getting much higher instantaneous power than they would get from a deep cycle or even dual use batteries. I have only used them for a year, but put them through a lot of use this Summer on about 80 canal system locks, each of which involves one or two engine starts and extensive thruster use.
