I have a 2021 RT25LE. My thruster battery has one ground cable that I believe to be going to the thruster motor. The wiring schematic diagram shows the thruster battery to be grounded to the engine battery. Is this correct? I hesitate to add the ground cable without advice. What has/had me looking at the thruster battery was reduced performance and reduced voltage and no observable charging from ac or solar.

The thruster and engine batteries have their ground wires are tied together.

The thruster battery needs to be grounded to the ground buss to be able to be charged. However, when I attach the ground the house bank begins to charge the thruster battery even if the thruster battery has been fully charged by a separate charger. This 6 amp plus drain continues for over 24 hours and would ultimately drain the house bank. I have to remove the ground to stop the drain. I then have to momentarily disconnect the house bank from the shunt to again get normal numbers on the shunt display.
What’s not working as it should?
My boat is a 2021 RTLE new to me early May and had 85 hours. There is six 100amp Li house batteries. .

I've got the lithium battery drawing for the R27. I can’t attach it here, but if you’d like a copy, send me an email and I’ll forward it to you. The drawing also includes the correct charger settings, though I recommend double-checking them to make sure they match your setup.

The correct charger settings proved valuable to check my charger settings. My settings were correct. My problem ended up being wrong cable connections from the ACR. The two cables from the ACR were supposed to be connected to the engine battery and thruster battery separately. One of my cables from the ACR was connected to the house bank and the other to the thruster battery. With the thruster battery properly grounded, this allowed a connection to the house bank. I believe someone had removed the thruster ground cable to keep this connection to the house bank from happening.
