Michael,
The only documentation I have is what I was able to get online for the model thruster on the boat. One of the features of the Side Power thrusters is that all elements of the system plug into a bus. This bus provides power for "control" of the thrusters, joysticks and remote receiver. Maybe since you added on the remote receiver after the thruster system was installed it is wired in differently. I did try turning on the spare breaker, but no joy. In fact, I turned every switch and breaker on the boat on and the remote's lights just blink indicating it is trying to pair with the remote receiver.
I did not have time Saturday to take the joysticks off to look in at the remote receiver. It was time to change the oil/filter for the reverse gear and install a petcock on the primary filter to help diagnose the water in fuel alarm. I got another water in fuel alarm today and shut the engine down to clear the alarm. I then restarted the engine and no water in fuel alarm came on for the rest of our trip, about 90 minutes. One would think if water is in the filter the alarm should come back on. I am getting tired of draining fuel, it is lowering my fuel mileage.
