I see them for sale with prices between $315 and $350. The whole package transmitter and receiver is double that price.
I treat mine like it’s an expensive camera. Always take batteries out between cruises. Hard to justify replacing it at those prices so I want mine to last as long as I own the boat.

+1 to above. Also I use Lithium AA (etc) batteries in such sensitive/important devices because they are much less likely to leak.

Yes, looks like the Lewmar thruster remotes are much lower priced than the SidePower thruster remotes. Most of us older boats (pre-2019?) have the SidePower thruster systems.
I believe the prior posters were referring to the Sidepower thruster remote.
