Recently purchased a 2011 R29 with all systems working. Last time out thrusters functioned normally but after a couple weeks with no use now the rear thruster works in only one direction. When the right rear Joystick is activated nothing happens. No sound what so ever and no unusual lights. Same reaction when the right rear remote is attempted. Both the joysticks and remote otherwise appear to be functioning normally. Anybody have any thoughts or guidance?

Have you run through the troubleshooting guide that's available under "attachments" on the left side of the TugNuts home page?

I had crazy issues with my thrusters , I changed the impellers 250 amp fuses , now they work just fine.
I went through the troubleshooting manual , and glad I decided to look at the fuses first before dismantling the boat .

I just went thru the trouble shooting exercise and diagnosed things down to the solenoid. As reported you'll need to do this. If you do not have the trouble shoot guide PM me with your email address and I'll send it to you....can not figure out how to do it here.

Thanks to all for the advice. I'll go through the Troubleshooting Guide.

I obtained a copy of the troubleshooting guide and believe that is the way to go. I was hoping I would find the electronic control box as pictured in a remote location but have not located it. This leads me to believe it may be integral to the motor itself?? When I look at the thruster it appears I have the IP version with the hermetically sealed cover. If I am correct and if I really need to get inside the thruster, I wonder if it wouldn't be easier to remover the thruster in its entirety (as in changing a shear Pin) and then do the testing, appropriate repairs, reseal the cover and then replace the thruster. Any advise or thoughts would be appreciated.
