I'm about to buy several pieces of wood to make some modifications to my R-25.
Teak is very expensive so I will be using Tigerwood instead as it's considerably cheaper and by and large has the same look as Teak and is as durable.
I say this, as two years ago I had our master bathroom completely remade & modernized. I wanted a seat in the shower section and had an integral wall seat made which was completely tiled over. I then decided I wanted a teak slatted surface for this seat as I had contracted for under floor heating that was also extended and place under the seating surface... nice and toasty I can tell you 🙂 , but a tad too warm for the bare skin. I priced out the teak for this and nearly choked. I then decided at that point to use Tigerwood due to it being a little than half the cost of teak. It has worn and worked very well over the past few years and it gets soaked at least twice a day. 😉
